1 in 2 is the new reality for us, and it’s frightening

1 in 2 of us face a cancer diagnosis in our lifetime. My Dad, Omer Alofs, just passed away from cancer. So both my parents died from cancer. Canada needs a national strategy to deal with the crisis that is cancer.



What would you say if I told you nearly 1 in 2 Canadians will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime? That’s half of your loved ones, half of your colleagues at work, half of your neighbours.
